Revlon Professional Interactives Hydra Rescue Repair

Contents: 450ml
Price: HK$320.00

According to the package:

Hydra Rescue:
Hydro-nutritive treatments

Dry and sensitized hair has a hydrolipidic deficit which makes it more vulnerable to external agressions (solar radiation, agressive or unsuitable technical processes, drying, etc.) It is fragile and rough, with split ends and is difficult to detangle.

Solution: Hydra rescue repair is a profound hydration care which on application of heat permits the internal restructuring, hydration and disciplining of very dry and damaged capillary fiber.

Technology:
  1. Innovation: the hydra capture system moisturizes hair at its core and reinforces its structure against aggressions, preventing breakage.
  2. Thermo-active technology melts the jojoba particles and closes the cuticles, trapping nutrients inside the hair.
  3. Its formula with vitamins A, E and B5 protects the fiber and imparts immediated softness and shine.
Benefits:Spectaculare results after a single application: The hair is profoundly moisturized, its structure is reinforced against aggressions, and it has the shine and softness of hair in good condition.

Professional Application:
  1. Wash Hair with Hydra Rescue Shampoo and rinse copiously.
  2. Eliminated excess water with a towel.
  3. At the dressing table, divide the hair into approximately twelve parts.
  4. Using a brush, apply the product section by section on middle and ends.
  5. Wrap each section in colorless aluminum foil.
  6. Apply the iron at 100-130º, lock by lock, to seal the cuticle.
  7. Leave hair to cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Rinse Copiously with water

My Opinion:

I've been using this product for nearly a month, and finally when I was ready to write this review, came to realize that I've been using it wrongly.

I was told by the sales lady to use it like a hair mask, i.e. wash your hair and leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse off. By following her instruction, this product did nothing to my hair apart from leaving it greasy.

When I've started to google about this product, I've  finally realize that I've been using it wrongly, this is a heat activated product and the tiny blue particles would only release it's properties when heat is applied, i.e. you need to run over it with a straight iron after application.

If I have known that this was such a complicated product I would never have purchased it, but since I already got it, I might try again with the proper technique and let you know how it works later....
